Hey all, I'm back after a long absence. Had been seriously swamped with the business and whatnot, wasn't making a lot of $$$, but was working 16+hr days nonstop. We had opened a retail shop in town and was hoping to get enough machinery in-house to do 95% of the customer work there but between the economy and a laundry list of problems with the building, we pulled the plug on it after 4 months and $15,000. Now I'm scaling back all operations until this economy bounces back a bit. Going to focus on getting some design work done for some MAJOR stuff we got in the works and get the operating system and website improved to make things run more efficiently when things get busy again. I'll bring y'all up to speed on the sordid details as time allows but I will be spending more time here in the upcoming weeks as things calm down around here. Not saying that things were stressful, but I kept a 4-drawer humidor on my desk at the shop just to keep me from killing people

Got some plans for this site as well, I'll hash out the details and try to put together a proposal. I want to incorporate a discussion board into the website so that people can discuss our products, gunsmithing in general, and get 'real-time' updates on work orders so I don't spend half my day answering phone calls from people wondering when their barrel/etc is going to be done. When production bounces back I'd like to use GAA as an outlet for oddball parts that we only do limited runs of or demo parts that we have too many of. I'll pound out the details in the upcoming weeks.
